Avis M. (Bartlett) Erwin, 91, Watertown, widow of Richard Erwin, passed away Thursday December 26th at her home with her family at her side.
There will be no services. Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.
Avis is survived by two sons, David (Robyn) Bartlett and Joel (Danielle) Bartlett, all of Watertown; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard Erwin; her companions Don Barnes and Bob Green; a stepdaughter Linda (Robert) Saiff, a brother Kent Wicks; sisters Arah Meeks, Ariel Lane, Ardis Chimber and Arla Sasenbury. A marriage to Raymond Bartlett ended in divorce.
Avis was born in Theresa, a daughter to Earl and Vara Townsend Wicks. She was a licensed practical nurse, licensed in New York State and Florida. She spent winters on the Florida East Coast to include Vero Beach and Fort Lauderdale for many years.
