Former wife of Nazi SS General Reinhard Heydrich. Her brother Jurgen joined the Sturmabteilung, He spoke to her highly of the movement to her she joined a rally in the 1920's where Adolf Hitler spoke. Shortly after she joined the Nazi Party in 1929. She attended a rowing-club ball where she met Reinhard Heydrich, they soon became romantically involved and married in 1931. She persuaded her husband Reinhard to look into the Schutzstaffel as a career opportunity. But Reinhard's appointment was cancelled by Himmler at the last moment but she still sent him Munich despite the cancelation of the appointment. He would be later hired by Himmler into the Schutzstaffel as a chief. After World War II concluded in 1945, she would be cleared during the the de-Nazification process. She would soon marry the Finnish poet Mauno Manninen.
