Obituary: Obituary: Almagene Ruth Hellems, 85, of Quinwood passed away at home following a short illness on Friday April 18, 2014. Born on August 7, 1928 she was the daughter of the late James Edward O'Dell and Bessie Arbula Nutter. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Quinwood. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceeded in death by a sister: Virginia Belcher and her husband Romie. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 61 years: Ralph "Kakie" Hellems, 2 daughters: Ginger Fain and husband Harold of Quinwood and Robin (Barry) Williams of Rainelle. 1 son: Dwane"Bo" Hellems and his wife Kathy of Quinwood, 1 sister: Loretta Belcher and husband Clyde of Quinwood . She is survived also by 6 grandchildren: Krista Williams, Hannah Hellems, Brent Hellems, Matthew Hellems, Holly Fitzwater and husband Chris and Linsey Fain. The family would like to express their special thanks to the caregivers: Patty Jones, Teresa Lilly, and her faithful sister-n-law and brother-n-law Lorene and Buck Nottingham of Quinwood. Services will be held at the Wallace Funeral chapel on Saturday April 19, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Chad Rodes officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.
