G. Ernest Waltz:

Word has received here Tuesday of the death of G. Ernest Waltz of Amesbury, Mass., a native of this town. He was the son of the late Granville O. and Addie M. Waltz and although living in Massachusetts for many years, made frequent visits here. Mr. Waltz is survived by a widow, four brothers, Clarence B. of Everett, Mass., Guy I. of Waldoboro, E. True of Amesbury, Mass. and Roland T. of Portland, and by three sisters, the Misses Estelle M. Waltz and Isabelle Waltz of Boston and Dorothea Waltz, a teacher in Newburyport, Mass.

Granville E. Waltz, 62, associated with the W. E. Fuller Clothing Store, died very suddenly at an early hour Tuesday morning at his home 22 Belmont street. He was born in Waldoboro, Maine, Feb. 10, 1874, the son of Granville O. and Addie (Thurston) Waltz. he had been a resident here for 21 years. He was a member of Pow W River lodge, I.O.O.F., and Warren lodge, A.F. & A.M. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mildred Day Waltz, he leaves four brothers, Clarence B. of Everett; Guy I., of Waldoboro, Maine, Roland T. of Portland, Me., and Edward T. of Amesbury; and three sisters, Miss Stella M. Waltz, Dorchester, Miss. Isabel Waltz, Roxbury, and Miss. Dorothea Waltz, Newburyport. Funeral services were held from the home, 22 Belmont street, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
