According to the cemetery records, Mary Abrams was interred on 6 March 1881 in the same lot as her mother Catherine (De Forest) Skinner.

Mary sometimes went by Emma. She was in the 1860 census for the 2nd District, 11th Ward, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York with her parents William & Catherine Skinner, who were living with the John K. & Sarah Skinner family at that time.

Mary Emma Skinner married Alexander Abrams, a son of Newberry & Sarah Ann "Sally" (Combs) Abrams on 9 April 1878 in Brooklyn. Looking at the census records for Newberry & Sarah Ann Abrams, Newberry appears to have been a fisherman living in a fishing community. They had a large family with Alexander Abrams born in October of 1855 Flatlands, Kings Co., NY as one of the younger children. Alexander's death record indicates that he died died 13 November 1913 in Mineoloa, Nassau Co., NY. Mineoloa is a small village in Nassau Co., NY.

Mary and Alexander Abrams were in the 1880 census for Brooklyn, Kings County, NY under the "Abrahams" surname with son Morris Abraham 1 NY. Morris Abrams, who died in Brooklyn in 1941 is memorial 49590033. Morris and his wife Adeline (Howell) Abrams don't have headstones and as far as I can tell so far didn't have any children. He was Morris Abrams in the 1905 NY state census for Brooklyn. He was Maurice Abrams in the 1910 census, then Arthur M. Abrams in the 1920, 1930, and 1940 census records. The records say that for his occupation he drove an undertaking wagon. A 1939 Social Security record on Ancestry listed his name as Arthur Maurice Abrams and that he went by Morris Abrams. Adeline was in the 1880 Brooklyn, NY census as Adelaide Howell 21 NY. She was living with her widowed mother Eliza Howell 49 NY France NY, sister Augusta Henderson 23 NY and grandmother Margaret ? 82 yrs. NY.

After Mary died, Alexander married Josephine Carman. Josephine likely died by 1900 because in the 1900 census for Brooklyn, NYC, NY:
Alexander Abrams 45 widowed, employed in trucking
Edna Abrams dau. Jan. 1884 (16) (occupation listed as corset maker)
Ethel Abrams dau. May 1891
Jane Eldard grandmother Sept. 1827 (72)

Alexander was listed as "Alex Abrams" on the marriage records for his daughters Edna and Ethel. Josephine Carmen was listed as their mother. In the 1920 census for Freeport, Nassau, NY may have been daughter Ethel M. (Abrams) Johnson:
Ulysses Johnson 31 NY public school janitor
Ethel M. Johnson 29 NY washerwoman for private families
Laurence E. Johnson 12 NY son
Listed next to them on the census was the Oliver Carman family: Oliver Carman 32 NY
fisherman.
Alexander & Josephine (Carman) Abrams daughter Edna Maud Abrams married John H. Noon on 4 May 1902 in Kings Co., NY. They may have been in the census records for 1910 and 1930, and are buried in the Rockville Cemetery, Lynbook, Nassau Co., NY.
