Chester E. Jackson, 72, Noblesville, died Thursday at W. 10th Street Veterans Administration Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was a retired employee of Frazier Construction Co. in Indianapolis. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in Coaltrin-Randall and Roberts Funeral Home at Noblesville, with burial in Floral Park cemetery in Indianapolis.

Funeral Services for Chester E. Jackson, 72, of 208 Queens Lane, Noblesville, who died Thursday, Dec. 27, 1979 in Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis will be 2 p.m. Monday at Coaltrin-Randall and Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Ted Clarke of Green Valley Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Jackson was born Jan. 30, 1907 in Fairmount to Ford and Bertie (Hatfield) Jackson. He moved to Hamilton County three years ago from Indianapolis.
He was retired from Frazier Construction Co. in Indianapolis.
He was a veteran of World War II, and was a member of American Legion Post 45 and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also a member of Moose Lodge, Noblesville Golden Age Center and Senior Citizens Organization Inc. in Noblesville.
His wife, Maude F. Jackson, died in 1976.
He is survived by a brother, Hubert L. of Frankfort; two sisters, Virginia D. Saunders of Noblesville, and Betty Settles of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
