Henry Clay and Thursa A Vencill Durham were Addie's parents. John Thomas Eaton and Adaline Durham were married in Sullivan County, Missoui where they lived before moving to Buffalo County, Nebraska. They were the parents of Iva Eaton Rice Robbins Brisban, Clarence Eaton, and Milroy H. "Roy" Eaton. After the death of John in 1913, Addie and her granddaughter Lillian lived with her daughter Iva. Roy was killed in France during WWI and Addie became a Gold Star Mother. She was able to visit his grave in 1930. By this time Addie was living in Long Beach, California where she resided until her death.
She was the step-mother to John's children Robert A. Eaton of Pleasanton, Nebraska and Jennie Eaton Evans of Sheridan, Wyoming.
