Elizabeth Ann Bell Adams, 84 of Brushfork WV, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

Born February 9, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Ella Mae Horton Bell and Winfred Bell of Coopers WV.

Lizzie was born at home in Coopers, WV and graduated from Bramwell High School. She was a moral, loving lady whose greatest enjoyment was caring for her family. In her later years, she enjoyed sitting on the front porch, appreciating her native West Virginia. She lived many places while Roger was in the military but spent the majority of the military years in Valparaiso, FL, returning to Bluefield in 1995. She worked as a bookkeeper for several years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Valparaiso.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Sons Larry Adams, Niceville Florida and David Adams, Atlanta Georgia; and brothers James “Kenneth” Bell, Jr., Leonard Bell, Robert Bell, Harold Bell, Richard Bell.

She was survived by her husband of 66 years Roger “Little Pot” Adams of the home; Daughter Kathy Adams Samson (Brig), Knoxville TN;
Granddaughter Victoria Marguerite Samson and Ava, Charleston SC; Granddaughter Atalie Adams and Riley and Jeannie, Niceville FL; Brothers Bill Bell (Fern) and Max Bell, Nemours WV.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow.
