Funeral services for Dr. Frank B. Hollenbeck, 67, prominent Lincoln physician for 36 years, who died suddenly Sunday evening of a heart attack, will be held at 3:30 Wednesday at Holy Trinity Episcopal church, Rev. H. H. Marsden officiating. The body will lie in state from 2:30 on. He had been ill for five weeks. He died at 7 p.m. at his home, 2805 So. 27th.
Dr. Hollenbeck was born in Green Lake, Wis. He attended Grinnell university and was graduated with a bachelor of philosophy degree in 1895. After being graduated from Rush Medical institute of Chicago in 1898 he interned at Presbyterian hospital there. Later he was an intern under Dr. Nicholas Senn and on leaving Chicago came to Lincoln. He was a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of American Medical Association, Nebraska State Medical association, Lancaster County Medical society, of which he was president in 1915, American Railway Surgeons, and Missouri Valley Medical association. He was a medical examiner for the Burlington railroad. Dr. Hollenbeck was active in Red Cross work and belonged to the Knife and Fork club, Lincoln lodge No. 19 AF&AM, Scottish Rite, A.O.U.W., and Degree of Honor.
He is survived by his wife, Alice M.; son, Alexander D., Philadelphia, and sister, Mrs. R. W. Aborn, Coronado, Calif. The body is at Roberts.
