The funeral service of the late A.J. Hull, of Chicago, for many years a resident and prominent business man of Sterling, and who took his own life in Chicago, Wednesday June 24, 1885, were held in this city, at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Schofield, last Sunday morning. The sermon was by the Rev. A.A. Joss, rector of the Grace Church and the burial services were conducted by the Knights of Pythias. The deceased was one of the founders of the Novelty Manufacturing Company, and at one time President of the Sterling Pump Company.
