Texan Mr. Bigham was a cowboy for
many years before moving in 1922 to
California to study carpentry. He was
also an expert in hand-tooling leather.
Mr. Bigham was "a deeply religious man"
and was a poet, writing religious poems
of a "western tone." Devoted to outdoor
life and the open range, he loved horses
and cattle.
Funeral services were held June 28th
at the Heinauer-Griffith chapel. Pastor
C. W. Thomas of the Pilgrim Holiness
Church officiated. Interment followed
in the Pomona Cemetery.
