Doris Edelman was the age of 82 when she passed away at Bolingreen Health and Rehabilitation on Saturday, January 11, 2020. Born in Murphy, North Carolina, Doris was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Violet Marie Stamey. She worked at Honeywell as an electronics technician where she retired. Doris was a woman of great faith. Famous for her cooking skills; she was known for her biscuits, never fixed anything that wasn’t delightful, and always perfected her thanksgiving dinners. Doris wasn’t just a fan of her own cooking though, she was also a dedicated customer of Chick-Fil-A. Doris had a green thumb, enjoyed gardening, and loved flowers. She was so creative and loved crocheting. Most of all, Doris was a wonderful mother and friend that will be remembered for her hard work ethics and great sense of humor.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her grandson, Kyle Hillock; and siblings, Lois Wilfong, and Dedron Scott.

Left to treasure her memory is her children, Kimberly Lorain Hillock (Carl) of Warner Robins, Georgia; Carl Eugene White (Cynthia) of Charleston, South Carolina; Michael Anthony White (Kelly) of Mentor, Ohio; and Mark Wayne White (Karen) of Byron, Georgia; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and brother, Horace Stamey of Windsor, Ohio.
