William Thomas Covalt, 80, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died at home on Saturday, January 18, 2020. Tom was born in Woodward, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Jewell (Waldroop) Covalt. He was the Director for Oklahoma City and the State of Oklahoma Park Departments, and was the Director of JTPA at the time of his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents. Tom was survived by his wife Barbara 'Ann'; two daughters, Teresa Whitaker and Melissa Duffy; a granddaughter, Jasmin Natale and husband Ronnie; and sister, Patricia Green. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, 23 January, at the North MacArthur church of Christ, followed with burial at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
