Daughter of George D. and Florence L. Gray Dickson.
Survivors include son Mark A. (Pam) Barker; daughters Sheryl S. McCance, Laura B. (James) Waye, Kristy K. Barker and Diane M. (Jason) Metzinger; grandchildren Casey, Robert and Morgan McCance; Daniel, Emily, Caroline and Lauren Waye; and Madison, Bailey, Ryleigh and Jaxon Metzinger; step-grandsons Nathan and Cory Metzinger and Skylar Davis; step-great-grandchildren Landyn Metzinger, Bentley Percak and Audrey Davis; extended family; many friends including her lifelong best friend, Martha Sellers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry L. Dickson and infant grandsons Jacob Waye and Kolby Metzinger.

1959 graduate of Granville Wells High School.

Retired from Big Lots in 2009, had worked in childcare, and made and decorated cakes for over 35 years.

She was a room mother and involved with the PTO at Ladoga Elementary School from the time her oldest child was in first grade until her youngest child was in sixth grade, spanning 14 years.

Belonged to Young Moderns Home Ec Club of Hendricks County for over 50 years and was also a member of Ladoga Community Church.

She loved to read, do word and jigsaw puzzles, play board games and do crafts.

Service 1pm Tuesday, January 21 at Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Visitation 11am until time of service.

Memorial donations to an animal shelter, Crawfordsville’s REINdear program, Ladoga Community Church or a charitable organization of your choice.
