LeRoy A. Gulbran, 87, of Coal Run, Ohio, died on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his home. He was born on November 10, 1932 in Hamilton, NY, son of LeRoy Andrew Sr. and Maude Chase Gulbran.

LeRoy retired in 1993 from AEP Muskingum River Plant after 36 years of service. He served his country in the US Army Air Forces from 1953-1956 during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 750 at Lowell. He was first married on January 2, 1954 to Rita Joan Tucker Gulbran who died on August 8, 1987. He later married Michelle Devol Gulbran on June 29, 1988.

He is survived by his wife Michelle Gulbran; two daughters, Stephanie Brown and husband Kenneth of Coal Run and Chereese Rowland and husband Danny of Kingston, Tenn; four grandchildren, Heather, Hilary, Miranda and Derek; eight great grandchildren; and a sister in-law, Mary Zimmer and husband Steve of Coal Run. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife.

A visitation will be held 5-8 pm on Friday, January 24, 2020 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Lowell at a later date.
