Due to circumstances, he was not interred until January 22, 2020 in the Arizona Veterans Cemetery in Marana AZ. Plot Section C5, Row A, Site 24.
“No bagpipes. . .” is reference to my dad’s intense dislike of bagpipes acquired during this WWII service. It was his trigger and as soon as he heard that first note, he quickly distanced himself.
He served in the USAAF 388th Bomb Group, 563rd Bomb Squadron

Altho his name & his 1st wife’s name is on the headstone located in Union Cemetery, Columbus Ohio, he is not buried there.
He married Maxine Kraft Kelsey.
