Coleman G. Hill Jr. a resident of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed away May 14, 2004 at Hudson Valley Hospital Center. He was 63. Coleman was born in Peekskill, NY on December 11, 1940, the son of Coleman G. and Rosalind Wessells Hill Sr. Locally he was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Mohegan Lake, Graymoore and St. Jude's. He was devoted to his family, open to everyone, was very unselfish and loved to joke. His wife Florence of Cortlandt Manor, four children Cindy Hill Thompson, Rachel Hill Thompson, Coleman G. Hill III and Rebecca Hill all of Corlandt Manor, three grandchildren Ed Thompson Jr., Heather Thompson Hays and Cozette Shields along with his mother Rosalind Wessells Hill Tandy, three sisters Rosalind Lawrence, Karen Swanson and Laura Gilleo and several nieces and nephews all survive Coleman. He is predeceased by his father Coleman G. Hill Sr. and brother Gerald Hill. Calling hours will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 12:30 pm at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
