She was raised in Grapeland and attended Grapeland High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Redmon enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping and loved to play "Chicken" dominoes.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Eugene Redmon; sister, Patsy Harrison and brother, Lavon Frisby.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Redmon, Debbie Pierce (Larry), Wendy Redmon (Ned Stinson); son, Paul Redmon (Kay); sisters, Marie Chambers, Laura "Boots" Averitte ( Ronnie); six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Lance Redmon officiating.; followed by a reception in the Reflection Room of Rhone Funeral Home.
Prior to the celebration service, the family will have gathered for a private interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
