Mr. Abbott, 78 years old, of 812 S.W. Harvard Road, Port St. Lucie, Florida and former resident of West Palm Beach from 1959 until he moved to Port St. Lurie in 1985, died Tuesday, September 12, 1989, in Austin, Texas after a sudden illness.
He is survived by four sons, Stephen M. Abbott, CW4 (Ret. ) U.S. Army, Sicily. Edward E. Abbott. Jacksonville, Florida, Jerry M. Abbott, Riverview, Michigan. and David Paul Abbott, Port St. Lucie, Florida. Also surviving is his sister, Kathleen Gro-jean of Austin. Texas. Additional survivors include 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services to be held 10:18) A.M. on Saturday, September 16, 1989 at Quattlebaum Holleman Burse Funeral Home, 1201 South olive Avenue, West Palm Beach with the Rev. John S. Gatewood, Pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beach. officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.
