Gary Leo Adams, age 80 of Cassville, WI, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020, surrounded by his family on the Adams family farm in rural Beetown.

He was born July 20, 1939 on the Adams family farm, the son of John and Esther (Pitzen) Adams. He attended Beetown Grade School and then Cassville High School. On August 26, 1961, Gary was united in marriage to his earthly angel, Sandra Brinkman, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville, WI. He worked at GMC in Janesville. After three years of working in the factory, it was time to put his work boots and his Wyffels hat back on and return to the family farm. From sunup to sundown he took pride in working the land. He sowed and planted a strong work ethic in his family. No job was done until it was well done.

Gary is survived by his wife, Sandra, of 58 years; sons: Tim (Amy) and Don (Angela), both of Cassville, son Dave (Darla), of Lancaster, and daughter, Gina (Duane) Kartman, of Cassville; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his son, Steve, in 2013; a sister, Annabelle (Don) Adrian; and brothers: Donald and John (Charlotte) Adams.

A Mass of Christian burial was January 20, 2020 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville; Father John Meinholz officiated. Burial was in St. Mary’s Settlement Cemetery, Cassville. There was no visitation. The Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory of Cassville oversaw services.
