DEATH OF JOHN CAPPS.
Springfield, Ills., June 16—John T. Capps, a well known business man and highly respected citizen, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at the family residence on South Fifth street. Mr. Capps had been in failing health for the past year but at no time was his condition considered serious. Only about two minutes before his death he was in different parts of the house and on his way to his room stopped at the door of his wife's room and conversed for a few minutes with her.
