Preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Everts, she graduated from the University of Minnesota where she majored in horticulture. She lived and worked for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. where she married her husband in 1966. She is survived by her stepson, Dr. Charles S. Everts, M.D., Tuscon, AZ; brother-in-law, Royal S. Everts, Southport, CT, and other relatives and friends. Graveside service and interment conducted January 8, 2007.
