Obituary for Ronald "Ronnie" Breland
Ronald “Ronnie” W. Breland, age 56, went to be with his Lord on Monday, January 27, 2020. Ronnie was a resident of Lowell, AR and was born March 22, 1963 in Gravette, AR. He is preceded in death by his mom Frances L. Vandiver Sims and his dad Jerry W. Breland.
Ronnie is survived by his daughter Diedre Breland Anderson and her husband Wes of Tahlequah, OK and their two children Lennon and Johnathan that were Papa babies and son Ronald W. Breland II of Huntsville, AR. Two brothers Jack Breeland of Springdale AR and Artie Vick (wife Shelly) of Brainard, MN. Two sisters Anita Townsend (husband Buddy) of Seligman, MO and Debbie Ratliff (husband Jeff) of Little Flock, AR. He had many nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. Along with so many friends.
Ronnie was employed for J.B. Hunt as a Maintenance Technical Support Clerk 1 since 1993. He was a go-getter and was on the Lowell City Council for one term in 2013. He never met a stranger and could always strike up a conversation. Ronnie loved his family, his grandbabies and friends. He was an avid John Wayne fan and stock car racing enthusiast. He loved spending time with his ponies and horses and his friend Ben Chesney at Chesney Farms in Siloam Springs, AR.
Ronnie had a lifelong illness of Epilesy, but that did not stop him from doing the things he loved to do. It also did not stop him from raising his children on his own in a good Christian home, where they attended Lowell Baptist Church for many years.
Visitation 5-7pm . Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home306 N. 4th, Rogers.
Funeral services 1:00 p,m, Friday at Harbor of Praise at 8543 W. McNelly Road Bentonville.
Final resting place will be at the Elm Springs Cemetery in Elm Springs, AR. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com
Pallbearers will be his nephews and great nephews Johnny Adams, James Townsend, Calvin Townsend, Nick Townsend, Jaxon Douglass and Jamez Douglass. Honorary pallbearers will be Wes and Johnathan Anderson, Jakob Douglass, Gavin VanPielt and Greg Douglass.
