Professional Football Player. Hall of Fame Defensive End inducted in 2012. Attended William Penn High School in York Pennsylvania and graduated in 1980. Played for Pittsburgh college when he was picked 1st round draft for the Vikings. He played 15 seasons in the NFL the first 9 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and in 1989 he had the record of 21 sacks for the league. He also played with Atlanta Falcons and San Fran's 49ers and finishing his career back where he started with the Vikings. In his career he was credited with 150 sacks in 232 games, was chosen first team for the All-Pro three times and played 8 games for the pro bowls. During one of the Hall of Fame trips Chris was baptized in the Jordan River in Israel. He was born to John and Mary Doleman and had 5 silings and grew up in York, Pennsylvania. On January 25,2018 he had brain surgery and he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma which is what took his life.
