Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Berganzel White daughter of Roman and Margaret Berganzel was born in Red Oak, Iowa on February 24, 1885 and died January 19, 1974 at Seward at the age of 88. She was united in marriage to Almeron White in 1910, they lived for a while in Idaho and California. Her husband died in California in 1924. She then returned to Red Oak and lived there untill until 1970 when she went to live with her brother George Berganzel and family of Seward. Most of her life she worked as a cook, for many years she cooked at Johnson Motel in Red Oak and also was the head cook at Murphy's Memorial Hospital in Red Oak. She was united in marriage to Albin Curtis White in 1952, Alvin preceded her in death in 1957 others preceding her in death were her Father and Mother four sisters Ethel Stuffelbeam, Rachel Bloom, Jessie Stoddard and Katherine Dean, two brothers Pete and Roman Berganzel, and a daughter Jean Carter. Survivors include two brothers Joe Berganzel of Wolbach and George Berganzel of Steward a granddaughter Leiloni Carter of Des Moines, Iowa, a grandson Larry Carter, and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends
