Wanda passed away at her residence February 8, 2018. She was born in Portsmouth to the late Willard O. and Lillie M. (Wicker) Qualls. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Utica. Wanda was very thoughtful and always there to help others.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Scott of Utica; grandchildren, Micki Renae Emory and Jeremiah Ray (Isabel) Emory, all of Alma, GA; great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Brian, Xander, Jordan, Emily, Aiden and Aizen; sisters, Ruth (Larry) Walters and Barbara Pantz; brother, Donald (Linda) Qualls; sister-in-law, Lil Wilburn; special friends, Tony Wayne and Nancy Newton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John D. "Jack" Grueser; son, Brian Keith Grueser; sister Doris Hickman; brother, James Qualls-Wilburn; brother-in-law, Randy Pantz.
