April 7, 1976 - January 26, 2020 Tonia Renee Burton was born April 7, 1976 in Hamilton, OH and departed this life Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. She was the daughter of the late Darrell Carpenter.
Tonia is survived by her mother, Mary K. Carpenter and one brother, Joshua B. McQueen both of Annville; by step brother, Jesse McGeorge and two step sisters, Melissa Northern and Carrie Allen all of Rockcastle County.
In addition to her father, Tonia was also preceded in death by her husband Denver Burton.
Tonia was a member of the Pleasant Run Baptist Church.
Funeral service 1:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Thomas and Bro. Brian Gabbard officiating. Burial to follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Michael Sizemore, James Sizemore, Nicholas Sizemore, David Allen, Christian Roaden, Triston Rucker and Justin Webb. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial in the Green Hill Cemetey, Annville, Ky.
