Billy R. Jamerson, 45, of Etowah, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1999.
A member of Cambria Baptist Church, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jamerson; and one brother, Larry Jamerson.
Survivors include his wife, Lara Jane Buckner Jamerson of Etowah; two sons, Scott and Hoyt Jamerson, both of Etowah; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jeanine Jamerson and Misty and Steve Martin, all of Etowah; one grandson, Kelund Martin of Etowah; his parents, Charles B. and Eva Jamerson of Etowah; three brothers, Jerry, Wayne and David Jamerson, all of Etowah; two sisters, Doris Partain of Niota and Janice Rymer of Etowah; his mother-in-law, Patsy Buckner of Ooltewah; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Friday in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Triplett and the Rev. Eddie Rowland officiating. Burial will be in Conasauga Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
