Wayne Jamerson, 60, of the Cambria community in Etowah, died Sunday evening, May 28, 2006, at his residence
A native of McMinn County, he was a member of Cambria Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his mother, Eva V. Jamerson; two brothers, Billy R. Jamerson and Larry Thomas Jamerson; and one sister, Betty Jean Jamerson.
Survivors include his wife, Lottie May Jamerson of Etowah; one son, Timothy Wayne Jamerson of Etowah; one daughter, Sheila Irene Rakestraw of Etowah; three grandchildren, Steven Wayne Adler, Chasity Megan Adler and Jessica Diane Jenkins; his father, Charles B. Jamerson; two brothers, Jerry Ray Jamerson and David Eric Jamerson, both of Etowah; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Ann and Lewis R. Partain and Janice and Kenny Rymer, all of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Rowland officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Conasauga Cemetery and will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday at the funeral home.
Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
