Barbara Ann Culler Hill, 68, of Newport, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at Carteret General Hospital.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Reece?s Chapel Baptist Church, Mill Creek, with the Rev. James Chadwick, the Rev. Eddie Jones and the Rev. H.J. Prince officiating. Burial will follow in the Chadwick Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill was a member of Reece?s Chapel Baptist Church. Born Dec. 23, 1937, in Tobaccoville, she was educated in Forsyth County Schools. She and her husband of 51 years, Claude Allen Hill, worked side by side at Trionics Electronics.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Barbara Lutz of Newport, Cindy Smith and husband Deryl of Mebane and Jeanette Chadwick and husband Jackie and Teresa Jordan and husband Steve, all of Mill Creek; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Culler and Myrtle Susan Culler; a grandson, Justin Jordan; and a step-grandson, Blake Smith.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the church.
