HADLEY -- Margaret Jean Bordeau, 89, of Niblic Road, died Sunday morning, May 30, 2010, at Fort Hudson Nursing Center, Fort Edward, after a short illness.
Born on March 8, 1921, in Lake Placid, she was the daughter of John J. and Abigail (Nugent) Moorehead.
She was a graduate of Lake Placid High School.
Margaret moved to this area in 1951. She babysat for many area families. She was a member of the Van R. Rhodes Luzerne-Hadley Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Tri-Town Seniors and a communicant of Holy Mother and Child Parish, Lake Luzerne.
She enjoyed playing bingo, ice skating and spending time with her family.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Irving Bordeau, in December 1983; a son, Raymond Bordeau; one sister, Mary Jones; two brothers, Robert Moorehead and Paul Moorhead.
