Alvey David Angle, 80, of Nelson St. , Marion, died he morning of Tuesday, July 24, 1984 at his home after a long illness.
Born March 12, 1904 in Antrim Township, he was a son of the late Calvin S. and Lydia Shupp Angle. He graduated from Greencastle High School in 1921. He married Cora E. Winger on Nov. 26, 1931.
Mr. Angle retired in 1970. He was manager of the former Walker Brothers Co., now Franklin Feed Supply Co. and then became manager of Altenwald Elevator.
He was a member of Solomon's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Grindstone Hill and its Men's Bible Class.
Surviving are his wife; daughter Arlene (Mrs. Richard G. ) Brill; a grandson and sister Pauline (Mrs.Norman H.) Meyers.
