Dennis "D. Henry" Blevins, 66, of Little Rock, passed away January 29th, 2020. Born in Little Rock, AR on November 20, 1953, to the late M. Hope and Lois Wagner Blevins, he was a graduate of Ozark Adventist Academy and the University of Central Arkansas where he was a proud member of Sigma Tau Gamma. He was the Managing Director of the Credit Union Group at Crews & Associates, where he had worked since 2007.

He dedicated his entire professional career to investment sales and spent the last 30 years focused solely on Credit Unions. He took pride in working for several firms throughout Little Rock; Swink & Co., Ahart & Bryan and Crews and Associates to name a few. He was also proud of developing Interstate Investments and CUSO Partners. Early on he changed his name to D. Henry because he always said that, "Dennis couldn't sell bonds, but D. Henry could." He loved the bond business; it was his passion and the trading room floor is where he thrived. He always said it was the greatest business in the world. This was not only where he made his living, but where he created loyal and lasting friendships that he held close to his heart.

D. Henry was also an avid music lover. Having the late Patsy Montana (Country Music Hall of Fame) as his aunt meant he literally had music in his blood. Whether it was playing guitar with friends or attending concerts, music was always a big part of his life. His eclectic taste spanned from Grand Ole Opry to the "Dark Side of the Moon" and everything in between.

He had a lasting influence on so many people and raised the bar in every room he walked into, but especially in bible study where he showed a true knowledge of the Bible. D. Henry was a Believer and a faithful man. Understanding the commitment of his strong, Christian faith gives us comfort in knowing that he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

D. Henry married his soulmate, Sharon Kay, On May 3, 2002. He always referenced her strength and said she was his backbone. Her unwavering commitment to him is a true testament of their love for one another. Whether it was time spent with their children and grandchildren, a spontaneous trip to Vegas, or a quiet night at home, they without a doubt had "the time of their lives." His legacy lives on through her and through their children who share his love of business, music, Faith in God, undeniable wit, humor and compassion for others.

He will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted wife of 17 years, Sharon; five children, Moriah Lewis (Barry), Matthew Blevins, Abigail Blevins (Keith), Sarah Odle (Brian) and Lindsay Harlan (Nick); four grandchildren, Madelyn and Amelia Odle, and Hazel Grace and Walker Harlan; and a long list of in-laws, outlaws, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Donate a Life America at donatelife.net in memory of D. Henry Blevins.
