BEIERLE - Funeral services for Alfred C. Beierle, 81 of Columbus, formerly of Richland, who died Thursday at the Columbus Manor, are set for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gass-Haney Chapel. Rev. Lee Hicks will officiate with burial in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Gass-Haney Funeral Home. Born May 16, 1898 near Rising City, he was the son of Mike and Carrie (Bock) Beierle. He attended Butler County Schools and on Dec. 20, 1921 he was married to Ada McNair at York. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clayton (Ruth) Saalfeld of Richland; one granddaughter, Mrs. Randy (Kelli) Arnold, Clarkson; brothers, Jeff of Columbus, Clarence of Dix, Neb., Chester of Newulm, Tex., Floyd of Long Beach, Calif., Howard of Riverside, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1963; parents, two sisters and one brother.
