After an illness of more than a year, Albert P. Hall died at his home in Marengo five miles south of this village on Tuesday morning, Oct 5, 1915, at the age of seventy-five years.
Mr. Hall was one of the best know residents of southern Galen, where he has followed the occupation of farming for many years. He will be greatly missed among his neighbors and especially by his family, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement. The survivors are his wife, three daughters, Flora, Emma and Elberta and one son, Wilfred, all of Marengo.
Funeral services will be held at the family home Friday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Pulaski Smith, assisted by Rev. C. H. Boughton, officiating. Internment will be in Southwick Cemetery.
