Dorthia C. Campbell, 88, Rogersville, passed away at 2:35 a.m. Sunday, July 29, 2007, in Ozark Riverview Manor, Ozark. Dorothy was a retired nurse's aide with Cox Medical Centers. She was born January 25, 1919, in Rogersville, Missouri, the daughter of the late Grover and Lizzie (Wells) Smith. She was united in marriage to Roy K. "T" Campbell on August 1, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1984. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Artho Smith; and two sisters, Larra Biggs and Fern Davenport. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Peggie Bess, Springfield; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007, in J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in funeral home. The family has requested memorial donations to the Harmony Baptist Church Building Fund, 5105 S. State Highway 125, Rogersville, 65742.
