Lucian S. Mlynarski, 81, of New Britain, entered into eternal rest Wednesday (March 5, 2003) at his home.
He was born in New Britain, son of the late Stanley and Anna (Iskra) Mlynarski and was a lifelong resident.
Lucian and his wife were the owners and operators of Pop's Place for 46 years until their retirement in 1986.
He was the widower of Hedwig "Yadz" (Labieniec) Mlynarski.
He was a member of Holy Cross Church and played on Pops's Place Bowling League at Laurel Lanes in Plainville.

He is survived by his loving family, a daughter Donna DeSorbo and her husband John of Southington, a son James P. Mlynarski of Southington; a brother, Henry Mlynarski, three sisters, Jean Trczinski and Ann Zyla all of New Britain and Florence Greenwood of Newington; and his caregiver, Maryann Wilensky.
He was predeceased by a son, Lt. Robert L. Mlynarski, a brother Stanley Mlynarski and a sister Lois Schrey.

A funeral service was held at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at Holy Cross Church.
Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
