Funeral Monday for John W. Rhymestine
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon for John W. Rhymestine, of North Water street, by Dr. Walter C. Beck, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, of which congregation the deceased man was a member.
Interment was in the Union cemetery.
Mr. Rhymestine died Friday, February 19, 1932 following a lingering illness. Had he lived until March 6 he would have been 78 years of age.
Mr. Rhymestine was born in Center county and sixty years ago came here with his bride Laura Faust, since which time he has been one of the leading house-painters and wall paper hangers in this section.
Surviving the deceased man were his widow and the following children: Howard, of North Orange Street; Benjamin, of North High Street; Mrs. John A. Arbogast, of North Orange Street, and Miss Eva Rhymestine, who resided with her mother on North Water Street, and one granddaughter, Mrs. Aubrey Zellers, of Montgomery.
