ANNAMAE V. SCHMIDTMAN
(1936 - 2017)

AnnaMae V. Schmidtman, age 80, formerly of 4110 Bellevue Place, Two Rivers, died Saturday evening, Sept. 9, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Two Rivers, with family at her side.

AnnaMae was born December 23, 1936 in the Town of Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Anton and Stella (Dawidowich) Pietroske. She graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers with the class of 1954. On November 28, 1959, she married Norman E. Schmidtman in Manitowoc. AnnaMae retired from Hamilton Industries of Two Rivers and after retirement started her dream job as a caregiver and assisted many families on the Lakeshore. Prior to their marriage, AnnaMae and Schmitty enjoyed motorcycle riding; she also enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, playing bingo, knitting, cooking, and baking. She was a member of the Cool City Rubies Red Hat Group and the Two Rivers Lioness Club; she served on her high school class reunion committee; and was a former Girl Scout Leader. For many years AnnaMae catered for parties and large gatherings; she loved to shop; and enjoyed gathering with family & friends.

Survivors include her husband, Norman "Schmitty"; four children: Steve Schmidtman (fiance, Peggy Ney) of Kellnersville, Scott Schmidtman of Valders, Susie (Brian) Bubolz of Reedsville, and Sherrie (John) Boettcher of Two Rivers; nine grandchildren: Megan (Joe) Hammer, Shannon Schmidtman, Sawyer Schmidtman, Eric (Erin) Bubolz, Brett (Kelly) Bubolz, Challise (Caleb) Staudinger, Shelbie Boettcher (special friend, John Cline), Emerson Boettcher, and Aubree Boettcher; seven great-grandchildren: Addison, Riley, Zeke and Livie Bubolz; Aiden and Alaina Bubolz; Cade Staudinger; and one more great-grandchild expected in November. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters: Anton (Chris) Pietroske, Jr., Frank (Kathy) Pietroske, all of Two Rivers, Robert Pietroske of Manitowoc, Joe Pietroske (significant other, Sharon Pritzl) of Beecher; Kay (Allen) Jensen, and Nancy Pietroske, all of Two Rivers; her godchild, David Jensen, Two Rivers; sister-in-law, Carol Schmidtman, Manitowoc; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Arthur; an infant sister, Violet; a sister-in-law, Liz Pietroske; and two brothers-in-law, Roland and Eugene Schmidtman.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. Officiating at the memorial mass will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Saturday morning, Sept. 16, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.
