Born Barbara Jean Haynes to Madeleine Sheppard and Leon Haynes on December 12, 1938. W C Sheppard (Chet) became her stepfather. She married John Thomas Gyorvary (Tom) (DOB 12/17/36) in St. Augustine, FL. They met at the ages of 15 and 17. She had 5 children - Barbara Anne Gyorvary, John Thomas Gyorvary Jr., Bunnie Schoenfeld, Anthony (Tony) Gyorvary, Deborah Gyorvary (passed away at the age of 5 or 6 - death by school bus). She had 8 grandchildren and 16+ great grandchildren.

She had a long career at General Motors. Her and husband, Tom, owners of The Diamond Castle in Cocoa, FL.

Previous address was: 826 Egret Rd. Cocoa, FL 32926

She danced when she was younger. She had an instructor.

In her older days, she loved doing her own acrylic nails while watching TV. She loved to crochet. She believed in Christ, and worshipped him frequently. She was an avid church goer. She would do anything for her children.

She taught me to always wear a pair of fresh underwear every day and to memorize your social security number at a young age because you'll need it.
