HAROLD G. SAND
(1921 - 2016)
Harold G. Sand, age 95, formerly of 422 Park Ln. Mishicot, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Northridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc.
Harold was born August 23, 1921 in Two Rivers to the late Fred and Martha Sand and has been a lifelong area resident. He married the former Gladys Klein and she preceded him in death. Harold was employed as a buffer for the Mirro Corporation and also farmed in Mishicot. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mishicot, and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He enjoyed wearing hats, raising pheasants and chickens, and reading western novels.
He is survived by one daughter: Sharon Mott, of Two Rivers, two sons and one daughter-in-law: Bruce Sand of Two Rivers, Scott and Sue Sand, of Prairie Farm, WI, 11 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother: Norbert Sand, one sister: Lorraine (Robert) Gumm, a son-in-law: Harlan Mott, and by several brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot, with the Reverend Robert Johannes officiating, with burial to follow in the Pioneer Rest Cemetery in Two Rivers. Relatives and friends may call after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
