Mary Martha Brooks, 64, of Balch Springs, Texas, passed away on January 28, 2020; after a lengthy illness. Burial will be at Royse City Cemetery.
Mary was born on November 6, 1955, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late John Albert Link and Clara Bell Walden Link. She graduated from Fairdale high school in Fairdale, Kentucky, class of 1974.
Mary married Ricky Glen Brooks of Balch Springs on June 15, 1979. They celebrated their 40th anniversary this past June.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Redman and Carolyn Pitts; and brother, James Link.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Brooks; son, Joseph Brooks; daughter, Kimberly Brooks, all of Balch Springs; sister, Cecilia Weaver, of Canton, Texas; brother, Golden Link, of Louisville, KY; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws. X5
