ERMA F. BOLLINGER

Erma F. Bollinger, 95, of Allentown, died Jan. 18 in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late Leon J. Bollinger.

He was weighmaster and sales representative for the former Bollinger & Son Coal Co., Allentown, for 34 years before retiring in 1962.

Born in New Ringgold, she was a daughter of the late Willis J. and Carrie M. (Zehner) Balliet.

She attended Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, Allentown, and was a member of its ladies quilt society. She received a blue ribbon for a quilt entered in the 1982 Kutztown Folk Festival.

Survivors: Son, Melvyn L of Allentown; daughters. Grace I. Muth of Coopersburg, Violet B. Higbee of Scottsdale, Ariz., Betty J. Justice of Allentown; brothers, Marlin of Verona, N.J.; Marco of Towaco, N.J.; stepbrother, Burton Balliet of Bonney Lake, Wash.; sister Beatryce Deppe of Scottsdale; stepsisters, Alice Allem of Springtown, Leulla Balliet of Towaco, Phyllis Koch of Emmaus, Sadie Steigerwalt of Statesville, N.C.; 10 grandchildren. 12 great-grandchildren.
