Benjamin Theodore Polley March 6, 1930 - April 23, 2017
Husband of the late Beatrice Polley and beloved companion of Louise Paloian. Benjamin was born in Norwalk, Connecticut and was the son of the late Sam and Ida Litoff Polley He was a Korean War veteran, 43rd infantry. Before founding and operating his own electronic company, he was the well known and well liked owner of Hank's Electronics on Washington Street for many years. Ben loved to travel and for over 30 years he loved his many trips to Aruba with his family.
Ben was predeceased by his wife Beatrice, past President of Hadassah, who passed away from leukemia and by his sister Celia Polley. Ben will be survived by his daughter Robin Penna, husband Vinny Penna, his son Barry Polley, wife Penny Barnett-Polley. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Polley of Paris France, three grandsons, Justin Miller, Patrick and Christopher Polley, his former daughter in law Colette LeBrun and his devoted companion Louise Paloian.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Burial will follow in the Independant Hebrew Society/Temple Shalom Cemetery, 143 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
