In loving memory of Margaret Alvina Ake who passed peacefully at the age of 94 on Thursday July 9, 2015. She was born May 29,1921 in Washington DC. She lived there with her parents Martha and George Olup and her brothers Rudy and Johnny. She then met the love of her life Frederick James Ake. They later married and moved to College Park Maryland to live and raise their children, Frederick, James, Jon Thomas, and Martha. The family spent many happy times on their boat in Lord Calvert Solomon's Island Maryland, camping on the water and pony penning in Chincoteaque Virginia. After her loving husband passed in 1975, she later moved in with her aunt and dear friend Tante Hertha where they lived in Hollywood FL. They were good friends and traveled to many places around the world together. Margaret lived a very happy life and had close relatives and friends that adored her. She was always happy and loved her family and friends. Her sister-in-laws were like her actual sisters Margie, wife of Rudy, Sara, wife of Johnny. Her daughter-in-laws were like her actual daughters Barbara wife of James and Linda wife of Jon Thomas. She is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, grand cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones. At her request, there will be no service, but we welcome you to please post anything that your heart wishes to express- pictures to share, memories, or favorite moments.
