Following an illness of only one day of an intestinal disease, Wilma Jean Rush, 16-month-old daughter of Willlam and Ethel Rush, died yesterday shortly before 8 p. m. at her parents home In Chartiers township near Oak Spring ceemetery. She is survived by her parents. A sister died a few years ago.
The child was bitten a few weeks ago in the family home by a dog, which was later declared to have been suffering with rabies, and she had been taking the Pasteur treatment the course having been completed about two weeks ago.
The body was taken from the McNary funeral home to the residence of Rainey Gossett, a brother-in-law, on North street, where private funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p. m., with burial in Oak Spring cemetery.
