Springfield , IL—Roberta C. Schadow, 71, of Springfield, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Regency Care.
Roberta was born on December 4, 1946 in Springfield.
She married Robert Schadow in 1969.
Roberta was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed puzzles of many kinds.
Roberta was a member of the Church of the Little Flower and the Springfield Art Association.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Carol M. Schadow-Allen and Pamela R. Schadow-Davis; her mother, Margaret C. McEvoy Sharp; her "father in heart," Joe Conklin; and half-brother, Rusty.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Schadow of Springfield; one daughter, Catherine (husband, David) Niggemeyer-Petrilli of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Kellsie, Austin, Nicholette, James, Brandon, Tiffany, Isabella, and Dominic; and two great-grandchildren, Mya and Brysen.
Cremation will be accorded by Lincoln Land Cremation Society prior to ceremonies.
The family will host a Celebration of Life from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the KC Lake Club, 141 North Lakewood Dr., Chatham.
