Anthony (Tony) Nicholas Ghezzi passed away at home on Wednesday November 13, 2019 after a short illness at the age of 55.

He is survived by is loving wife Alma Collins Ghezzi. They were married at Bowe Gardens Baptist Church 11 years ago. He is remembered by his loving family Steven Hanner of Melbourne FL, Dennis and Marilyn Ghezzi of Melbourne Fl. Jean Kumpf of NC his brother Rocco Ghezzi and sister Denise Hanley.

Tony was born in Newark NJ August 12, 1964 and moved to Melbourne as a child.

A graduate of Eau Gallie High School he furthered his education by obtaining an AA degree with honors from Brevard Community College and a BS in education from UCF.

He proudly served our country in the United States Marines Corps 1983-1987.He was a retired corrections office with the Brevard County Sheriffs Dept and Indian River Corrections. Tony retired from teaching history at Southwest Middle School in Palm Bay Florida.

He enjoyed the outdoors with his family including fishing, shrimping, disc golf and the Atlanta Braves.

Tony was loved by everyone who met him and his infectious smile will live on.
