Jesse Lee Drake is the son of Curtis "Kirt" Drake Sr and Theodsia "Theo" Screws. He is the paternal grandson of John Turner Drake and Virginia Evelyn Anderson.

Drake, Jesse Lee, age 62 of Tarrant, passed away on May 24, 2002. He was an Army Veteran. He was known as "Paw Paw" to those who knew him. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lamoine Sharp, and a brother, Curtis Drake, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Breatha Drake; 4 daughters, Stacey Drake, Wendy Florence (George), Teresa McDonald (Chris) and Sharon Phillips (Craig); a sister, Ruth Lambert; a brother, Roy Drake; grandchildren, Caleb Florence, Morgan Florence, Lauren Frain and Anastacia Frain; and several close friends, Carol and Jerry Melton, Jared Dennis, Greg Wilson and Mark, Charlotte and Bud Chathman.

Visitation at the funeral home Sunday, May 26, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Chapel service well be held Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home of Trussville directing.
