CLARENCE L. COLVIN
(1889-1950)
Clarence L. Colvin, 61, native of South Portsmouth, Ky., resident of Fontana seven years, died of a heart attack at work yesterday, three weeks after he returned to his job as a Kaisel Steel plant crane operator following an illness of nearly eight months.
He was a charter member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge 489 in Fontana. He made his home at 462 South Newport Street.
Surviving are his widow, Florence Colvin, Fontana; three brothers, Charles W., Portsmouth, Ohio, David T., Fontana, and George N., New Boston; and a half-brother, Francis, Altadena.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Ingold Chapel, Fontana, with the I.O.O.F. Lodge in charge. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m in Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood.
